Ready for 2017? We have information about three events taking place in January that may be of interest to New York State arts organizations:

APAP | NYC: Global Performing arts conference at marketplace – January 6-10

The conference brings together more than 3,600 presenting organizations, artists, managers, agents, support organizations, vendors, consultants, speakers and arts leaders from all 50 U.S. states and more than 33 countries. Engage in professional development, attend live performance showcases, participate in the world’s largest performing arts marketplace, network with colleagues and conduct business.

The New York State Presenters Network Winter Meeting – January 8

The meeting will take place from 11:30 AM – 1 PM at The Joyce Theater, and will include an update on funding opportunities, discussion of block booking tour plans, and mixing with other presenters and performing artists.

Chamber Music America 39th Annual Conference – January 12-15

CMA’s conference will feature keynote speaker Michael Kaiser discussing the future of the arts in America and will include ensemble showcases as well as sessions on topics such as performances outside the concert hall, data-based decision making, in-home concerts, DIY publicity, and relationship-building in communities.
