Each event will include overviews of the agency and our grants, and will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet NYSCA’s new Executive Director Mara Manus. In addition, Program staff will be available for small group meetings to review grant guidelines specific to each program. These seminars will focus on a broad overview of the FY18 NYSCA Funding Programs and Guidelines. NYSCA staff will also be available to discuss Prequalification and the grant application process.

The seminars will conclude with a reception and networking mixer. Dates and locations are as follows:

January 26 – Shea’s Performing Arts Center, 646 Main St., Buffalo

February 7 – Spark Media Project/Mill Street Loft, Poughkeespie Underwear Factory, 8 N. Cherry St., Poughkeepsie

All seminars will take place from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  An additional date will be scheduled in New York City; more information will be sent shortly. If you will be attending a seminar, please send your name, title, organization, and which seminar you will attend to public.affairs@arts.ny.gov.

  1. Good morning. Will there be a Central New York seminar?

  2. We are able to offer the sessions listed above and the sessions in New York City and Old Forge that were subsequently announced. Application information will also be available via webinars here and at arts.ny.gov.

  3. Can you please tell me when the webinars will be available? The in-person sessions in upstate NY have either passed (Schenectady) or are difficult to attend given the weather conditions, including today’s in Old Forge.

Also, can emails be sent to inquirers like me with links to the webinars?

    Thank you.
